Aisle Style Wish List | AD
Thursday, March 02, 2017Not long ago, I was thinking of blog posts, what I’ve already posted on here and came to the conclusion that I haven’t posted much about fashion. Don’t get me wrong I do love fashion and clothes but I’m not someone who is insanely fashionable- I mean, I wear a hoodie 4/5 days to college. But let’s be real, its college, I really couldn’t care less how I look there; and the extra 30 minutes in bed is so worth it.
Ironically, a couple days after
thinking about a fashion post, I was contacted by Grace from www.aislestyle.co.uk. Aisle Style do a
huuuuge range of dresses; from Bridesmaid Dresses to Prom Dresses and Communion Dresses. I must say, I spent a good hour or so just browsing
through the site, wishing I was getting married some time soon so I could wear
one of the gorgeous Wedding Dresses.. then I realised I’m 17 and still get
scared of committing to making plans with friends, but let’s move on…
I thought I’d put together a
little Wish List (like my previous ASOS Wish List) and show some of the types
of dresses that I loved!
The dresses for weddings were some
of my favourites, including these;
Floor-length Scoop Neck 3/4 Length Sleeve Beaded Long A-line Chiffon Prom Dress
Long Sleeved Beaded A-line Split Chiffon Long Prom Dress
I also really love this dress
design, the long sleeves, detailed top half with a long skirt. I really hate my
arms so tend to stick to long sleeves and these dresses are some favourites!
Bridesmaid 2017;
Chiffon Empire Sleeveless Floor-length Zipper Bridesmaid Dresses
Boho Flutter Short Sleeve Side Slit Long Satin Chiffon Long Rustic Bridesmaid Dress
Sleeveless V Neck Lace Bodice Ruby Long Tulle Bridesmaid Dress
After browsing further on the
website, I noticed for a lot of dresses, I loved the design but hated the
colour that was shown; when I clicked on them I then realised that you can
change the colour of the majority of them to a preferred colour of your choice.
Not only this, but the sizes range from UK 4 to UK 28, they do petite and plus
size dresses and as you can see from above, different categorised dresses
(Weddings, Evening, Prom and Homecoming
Dresses etc.).
When I first looked at the site I had
a sketchy feeling that it would be like one of those sites that sells dresses ‘all
the celebrities have worn’, it turns up at your house and looks completely different.
But thankfully, there is a review section at the bottom of the dress your on
where people who have ordered the dress themselves, write about what it’s like,
the fit and how they like it or not; rating it out of 5 stars. I love this as
it’s a review from a paying customer rather than there being nothing else to
push you to buy it.
Although I was contacted for this
post, I am really happy that I’ve found dresses I like as I’m in my last year
of college and there’s usually a Prom around that time. Also, you never know if
you’ll get a DM from Idris Elba saying he wants to take you to a movie
premiere, so it’s worth having a dress on standby.
Anyway, thank you for reading this
post, I hope you enjoyed it!
Let me know in the comments below
or tweet me some of your favourite places to buy clothes and your favourite
style dresses!
Thank you!
Phoebe
